Road Surfacing & Reinstatement Works
Project Overview
This reinstatement and surfacing project was completed for a worn and deteriorated section of hardstanding. The client required a safe, long-lasting, and professionally finished surface suitable for regular foot and vehicle traffic. Our goal was to deliver a high-quality tarmac reinstatement that restored strength, improved appearance, and ensured full compliance with site safety standards.
Scope of Work
Our team began by cutting out and removing the damaged areas of the existing surface, ensuring all defective sections were fully excavated. Once opened, we prepared the sub-base with correct levels, proper compaction, and a stable foundation ready for resurfacing. All underground service markings were identified and carefully worked around to maintain a safe, compliant work zone.
With preparation complete, new base layers were installed and rolled to create a strong platform for the final finish. The final tarmac was then laid to a smooth, even surface and neatly tied into surrounding edges for clean joints, improved durability, and a consistent appearance across the reinstated area.
