Overview
This project involved resurfacing the main front entrance road to a residential development in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. The existing carriageway was machine planned to remove 40mm of the worn surface before being resurfaced with a 40mm AC 10mm Surface Course, creating a smooth, durable, and professional finish suitable for daily vehicle traffic. A 40mm AC10 dense surface course is a common specification for carriageway resurfacing works.

The Challenge

Our Solution
The existing surface was precisely planed to a depth of 40mm, followed by the application of a tack coat to promote excellent adhesion. A new 40mm layer of AC 10mm Surface Course was then machine laid and fully compacted, providing a durable wearing course with a smooth riding surface and improved appearance.
