Major Excavation Works at St Catherine’s School, Hoddesdon
East Herts Surfacing is currently carrying out a major construction project at St Catherine’s School in Hoddesdon, as part of a contract worth over £500,000 for Hertfordshire Council.
The project involves the full construction of new playground areas, footpaths and roadways across the school site. The first stage of the works required extensive excavation and removal of the existing surfaces to prepare the area for the new construction.
Using excavators, dumpers and other specialist machinery, our team has cleared and excavated large sections of the site. Careful ground preparation at this stage is essential to provide stable foundations and ensure the new surfaces are constructed to the required levels and specifications.
Once the excavation and groundwork are complete, the project will progress through the construction of the new playgrounds, pedestrian footpaths and roadways.
